The Garden Notes book designed by Mavis and Osborn in Collaboration with our friend and illustrator Lois Fletcher-Cush is the beginning of an ongoing project based on the foods we eat.  

Each illustration is hand-drawn by Lois from locally grown, seasonal vegetables from the Grey Lynn Markets. On the inside front cover are notes about the vegetable and how to grow them.

Keeping notes will give you a record of what is happening in your garden and can be used as a reference for the next season of planting.

For our first series of 3 garden notes books, we have chosen 3 vegetables that are suitable for planting in the summer months. Artichoke, Beetroot, and Sweet Pea.

This 20-page blank notebook has a hand-stitched spine, with a burnt orange thread, using eco stock paper that is made from recycled paper, with a brown kraft card outer.
